I bought a 2010 touring bike (Electra Glide Classic). The new frame took some getting used to. Bike is stiffer but handles better. Seat feels wide, but comfortable. H-D finnal got it right.

tourmaster gloves heated... nice for the ride however fuses blow when riding in the rain and wire jacketing not heat resistant at all melted all over my pipes the gloves are nice to have when cold and they are working however always have a spare pair of winter gloves in your saddle bag cause when the power goes the gloves have no warmth to them.

Stone Lake Leather.. 3/4 jacket and Riding bib overalls.. Outstanding warm thick soft leather heavy duty zippers and snaps using them all winter and was never cold even down to 14*F made to order and fit usually takes 2 round trips to the Stonelake factory in Wisconson for the perfect fit and it is the perfect fit I have had mine for 3 seasons and nothing is loose or warn and I ride everyday.. Side note Diane is running things on her own at the shop due to Dan's injuries from laying down his bike so be patient service may be a little slower but still well worth it. Had a 110" kit installed on my 2009 FLHX. Harv's did an excellent job. The Street Glide now puts out gobs of power. The new frame design and changes make a great bike for a tall rider. Many dealers have the interest in creating an enjoyable experience, others think only of profit. Harv's is an enthusiastic Harley dealer. By comparison, Crossroads HD in Allentown, PA represents the profit mongers you'd be wise to avoid.

I paid F&S Harley of Dayton Ohio almost $6,000 to fix my wrecked bike over 3 months ago. They are still telling me they are waiting for my tank and fender. I'm wondering if they actually ordered the parts when they said they did, since they are having trouble financially.

Crossroads HD should be stayed away from they are by far the worst dealer I have experienced. I prefer a dealer who is honest, honorable, and believes that customer service is crucial to a business. Unfortunately they fail on all counts.

I paid over $37,000 for a HD FLHTCUSE5. When it developed >$10,000 in defects, neither HD or the dealer, Crossroads HD in Allentown, PA would lift a finger to support their customer. It matters not that I spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at the dealership. With any luck, Keith Wandell, Harley President, will find out about what happened, and the remarks Dave Lang (crossroads sales mgr) indicating that HD was wrong, and that his advice is that I hire a lawyer and pursue them based on the Lemon Law. ($10,000 of damage on a $37,000 bike) HD never inspected the bikeor provide an assessment of the cause of the defects. I have legal representative who feel that I have a good case regarding an implied warranty of merchantability.

Dealer who'll treat you right: Schaeffer's in Orwigsburg. Dennis and Carol Schaeffer take pride in their business. On the other end of the spectrum is Crossroads HD in Allentown, PA. I've given them several chances to show they have any concept of customer service. They've failed miserably every time. Customers mean nothing to them. Profit is everything. I consider myself a fool for thinking that they could improve and that eventually dealers realize the good ones are the ones that focus on customer service. Wrong. Crossroads interest is limited to $$$$.

Their HOG chapter comes close to the sponsor when the question of honesty, integrity, and customer service are considered. Sponsors never participate in HOG events and sponsor a chapter solely for the purpose of increasing their profit.

Ronald Hansen, former member and Safety Officer of Coopersburg HOG. Organized a successful toy run, but due to the vindictive attitudes and dishonesty of the chapter leadership and sponsor. Ron was forced to abandon his efforts. The fact that dozens of member quit the chapter due to their disgraceful actions says a lot. If you are national HOG member, you can join the local chapter for $15-20. Join and you can consider it a complete waste of money. Many dealers will support the members of their HOG chapters. A few don't. They will be happy to separate you from your hard earned money.

Open road HArley fired a mechanic for working on a long time friends bike. even though it says in their employee handbook that its ok to do so. I have heard no good things in regaurds to Open road since the new owners took over from BOB.
